Glitter Paint!

Experiment #1
Sparkly silver glitter paint and yarn= purdy! The silver paint itself is pretty transparent, so when you brush it on yarn you just see the pretty glitter. Time to play!

How Amigurumi Kingdom came to be...

2005. A much chubbier Jou. Lotsa free time (was in college...Fashion college). Too much yarn laying around. All of these factors were vital in the creation of Amigurumi Kingdom. I learned all my amigurumi basics from the Japanese amigurumi collection pattern books (there weren't ANY english books back then). I figured out the crochet charts pretty quickly, and my sister helped me translate some of the chinese characters. I spent most of the fall just making these amigurumis...but then I wanted to create my own! December 2005, I created my etsy/ebay pages and my website soon followed. Boy, I had a blast playing with different yarns and making funky bear sprites! I made a new one everyday...until I graduated in May 2006...and found a full time job. The rest is for another day.
